I was born in a country town near Chennai, a city in India. I have an older  brother and sister both of whom have their own families and live in India. My Mum lives alone since my dad passed away in October 2019.

My home parish church and school were only a few hundred metres from my house. So, as a boy, my life revolved around the church, school, and parish community. Getting involved in altar serving, Sunday catechism, young men’s parish choir (although you can’t find any trace of it now), other spiritual and parish activities were part of my life coming from a catholic background which I believe sowed the initial seed for my vocation to religious life with the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. After completing college, I attended a “vocation weekend” program which led me to continue my journey in Oblate life. I professed my First Vows in 2011 in India and was later sent to Australia for my post novitiate formation. Upon completing Bachelors in Theology, I made my Perpetual Profession of Vows in January 2016 in Chennai, and was ordained Deacon in July in the same year in Melbourne.  I returned to India in 2017 and was ordained a priest on 1st August in Chennai. I then worked as an Asst.Priest in Kanchipuram for just over a year, before returning to Australia in April 2019.

After arriving in Australia, I worked in Wynnum (Iona College) in Brisbane as a chaplain to our ROSIES Mission while helping out our parish at Cannon Hill until September 2020. I then moved to Mary Immaculate parish in Eagle Vale, NSW in September 2020 for a year during Covid.  For the past three years, I ministered in Mazenod College as chaplain and served in St. John Vianney Parish, Mulgrave, Melbourne.

It is great to be here in our Immaculate heart of Mary/St. Kieran’s Parish, Moe-Newborough as an Administrator.

Looking forward to journeying together as pilgrims in communion.

God bless.
