Commissioning of members of the new Diocesan Mission Council
On Sunday, 10th of December, at the 9.30 am Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral, Sale, Bishop Greg Bennet commissioned sixteen members of the new Diocesan Mission Council (DMC). The members, drawn from across the Diocese, will assist Bishop Greg in investigating, discerning, and proposing practical priorities and strategies for the development of the Diocese’s mission and pastoral life. During the Rite of Commissioning, members pledged to, "accept the call to serve co-responsibly and with discernment the animation and renewal of Christ's mission of sharing and proclaiming the Gospel in a synodal way."
