On Sunday 21 st February, the Rite of Election of Catechumens and Call to Continuing Conversion of Candidates was held at the Cathedral at Sale.
About fifty people attended the Rite with four Catechumens and five Candidates from the Parishes of Berwick, Cranbourne and Traralgon presented to Bishop Greg Bennet. The Rite of Election is a key moment in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) process where Catechumens and Candidates make a public Commitment to deepen their relationship with Jesus and join the Catholic Church at Eastertime.
