Our Lady Help of Christians in Narre Warren recently hosted renowned international speaker Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers as part of his Australian tour. He focused on "Building a Civilization of Love" and delved into the Theology of the Body, particularly emphasizing relationships, intimacy, and holiness.
This visit was particularly timely, following the success of the parish's recent 10-week "YOU" course on the Theology of the Body, aimed at young people aged 16-25.
Deacon Harold, who holds a Master of Theological Studies Degree from the University of Dallas, is a well-known figure in religious media. He hosts "Beacon of Truth" on EWTN Radio, has appeared in the major motion picture "Power in My Hands," and is featured in Ascension Press's renowned Chosen faith formation program.
