On the weekend of the 21st October eleven catechists from the across the Diocese attended a retreat weekend at CYC The Island. The retreat was Facilitated by Sister Robyn Reynolds OLHC. Sister Robyn has spent many years working and living with indigenous Australians in remote communities of the Northern Territory. For ten years she was lecturer at Darwin’s Nungalinya College and is now lecturing at Yarra Theological College in Melbourne.
The theme of the retreat was looking at “The Power and Presence of Grace in Our Lives”. We looked at the places and times where we fin the grace of God in our lives, sometimes the happy, but also in the not so happy moments. We were given time to reflect on our own spiritual life.
