Diocesan Catechists gathered at St. Joseph’s Church in Warragul for their annual gathering and Mass, which was celebrated by Bishop Greg Bennet.
17 Catechist were able to attend on Tuesday (9 March) to celebrate Mass together, hear from a number of speakers and participate in workshop activities.
Speakers for the day were Sophy Morley who us an update on the Plenary Council. Tara Bau, the Sacrament Coordinator from Berwick Parish, shared some thoughts on tips on running Sacrament workshops.
Warragul Assistant Priest, Father Confidence Masvosva took the group through a reflection on qualities needed for catechists.
