The Saint Michael’s Icon Writing Group were delighted by the visit of Bishop Greg during the week. He showed great interest in the icons that were on display and was keen to be shown the process used in their ‘writing’. He was even more interested in the personal stories of the members of the group and what had led them to this actIvity and their choice of which icon to produce. The group presented Bishop Greg with a small icon called Mary of the Paraclete after which he imparted a special blessing to each group member and the special work that they undertake. The members of the group were buoyed and energised by his personal interest and his heartfelt blessing.
