How delighted I am to discover the release of our recent external safeguarding audit undertaken by ASCL.
The report affirms your efforts, commitment and care in creating a culture of safeguarding across every aspect of our diocesan mission - thank you.
I wish to acknowledge the work of our Professional Standards Office, and in particular Paul Desmond and Cathy Dougan, who undertook our thorough engagement in preparing audit materials and supporting those parishes which were visited by our auditors, Dr Ursula Stephens and Dr David Treanor.
